How to speed up you internet

This Tut is very simple and very easy to do.

This will improve your internet connection speed and faster downloading and uploading rates.

[size="5"]Step 1:[/size] First we will need to download a program called Namebench. This program searches the fasted and nearest DNS servers to improve your internet connection speed.

[size="5"]Step 2:[/size] Now when you get a screen like this click start benchmark



Now it should be loading like this:



*NOTE* This may take up to 20minutes. Let it do its thing.

[size="5"]Step 3:[/size] Now when it is done you should get a screen like this:


*NOTE* On the top right where it says Primary Servers and Secondary Servers, They are you new faster servers that you will connect to on your PC *NOTE THEM DOWN*

[size="5"]Step 4:[/size] Now go the start menu. Click Network-Network and Sharing Center(top)-Manage Network Connections(on the right)-Right click on the your current internet connection-Click properties-Double Click Internet Protocal Version 4. Here like this:









[size="5"]Step 5:[/size] Now when you get a screen like this:



Where it says preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server is where you are going to put the new servers you noted down.
Preferred DNS server: The Primary Server you noted down goes in there
Alternate DNS server: The Secondary Server goes in there.

[size="5"]Step 6:[/size] Click ok and restart your computer

Now your internet connection speed should be dramatically alot faster than before.

[size="4"]*NOTE* This will speed up your internet connection for about 1 day. Because the servers are always beeing changed and switched so the next day your internet speed might be a tad bit slower. So just reopen Namebench and let it search for another faster server.
